About and Acknowledgments
Over the course of this project, I received help from a wide variety of individuals. First, I would like to thank my advisor, Professor Christina Welsch. She has given me enormous guidance and support throughout this project, always providing great insight and encouragement. Second, I would like to thank Catherine Heil, Digital Curation Librarian at The College of Wooster, who taught me how to use Scalar. Without her help, this exhibition would not have been possible. Third, I would like to extent my gratitude to Professor Jordan Biro Walters, who helped me understand the differences between academic and public history, thus allowing me to transform my research paper for an academic audience into an exhibition for a public one. I would also like to thank Denise Monbarren for helping spark my interest in archival work and public history, as well as providing boundless support and encouragement these past years. Lastly, thank you to the Copeland Fund for Independent Study, whose generosity allowed me to travel to London to conduct archival research at the British Library and Imperial War Museum.
