Meditation Work 2018 Jan-June, 2018
mixed media

“This painting is the accumulation of six months of meditation, marks and paint. Before each drawing/painting session, I would sit before this piece to clear my mind. Then I meditated, and finally, I made marks.
There is definitely something about breath in this piece, as well as something about the joy of the painting field. Spirituality can be playful, just as art can be."

Walk with Me Book, 2013
ink on paper, bound

“This book documents my ongoing project, Walk with Me. For five years, I have gone on walks with people and held their hands, then documented the experience. I continue this work as a way to connect to others and to the art world. Sharing this work with others is about opening up our horizons for what life can look like and what art can be. The world is an isolating place at the moment. Maybe if we take thirty minutes to hold someone's hand and ask them about their art, it can be a positive force in the world rather than a negative one."
