The Digital Athlete as Cyborg:
In scanning bibliographies, I came across this delightful article by Rayvon Fouché, titled "Aren't athletes cyborgs?: Technology, bodies, and sporting competitions." While I did not have the time to weave in as much analysis of the digitized body as I would have liked, the article itself is fascinating and surely worth exploring further.
Archiving the Changing Body:
Tobias Raun has an interest section around how trans* YouTubers document their changing bodies. Logan Paul also documented his bodily changes through training, growing from a YouTuber into a fighter over the course of several months. I am not sure if this rabbit hole is worth diving into, but it is certainly interesting.
