The Youtube Gaze:
Is it worth exploring the gaze of the algorithm from the perspective of Laura Mulvey? Is the algorithm's perverse attraction to certain content worth personifying as a masculine, Othering gaze?
The Digital Athlete as Cyborg:
In scanning bibliographies, I came across this delightful article by Rayvon Fouché, titled "Aren't athletes cyborgs?: Technology, bodies, and sporting competitions." While I did not have the time to weave in as much analysis of the digitized body as I would have liked, the article itself is fascinating and surely worth exploring further.
