Historiography
My review situates my research within existing scholarship. I can use sections from my digital review, as well as course readings and other secondary sources. This needn't be exhaustive, but it should give the reader a general sense of the field and how my project fits into these conversations.
Since I provide in-text links to my sources and a bibliography at the end of my essay, I do not need to use footnotes. However, I will provide in-text citations whenever referencing a "direct quote" (author's last name, year, page).
