Pages 70 through 79
Page 70: This page features a poem by Anabel C. Andrews that appears to have been handwritten and illustrated as well. The bottom half of the page has a poem by Raleigh, North Carolina native Mary Bayard Clark.
Page 71: The large illustration on this page is from a poetry book, though the poem that the picture accompanies is not in the scrapbook itself (however, another poem from the book is included in this page).
Page 72: This page contains two images, one of which refers to marriage once again. Additionally, the page also has a poem by 17th century poet Henry King and an excerpt from one of William Shakespeare's works.
Page 73: This is another "flower page," with a large, colorful Victorian-era flower cutout being the sole thing on the page.
Page 74: Like the page before, this is also a "flower page."
Page 75: This page contains mostly poems along with an excerpt from a larger piece of work (first published in a London newspaper) that argues for a person to have tact as opposed to talent.
Page 76: Much of this page is occupied by a continuation of a lengthy poem from the previous page. Prudence also included three short quotes at the bottom of the page, including ones by Parisian author Francois de Rochefoucauld and Scottish Reverend Samuel Rutherford.
Page 77: This page has a long poem about a hard working farmer, an illustration depicting something along that nature, and a collection of short quotes.
Page 78: Prudence most likely compiled the contents of this page during 1880 or earlier, as there is an article on this page regarding the upcoming year of 1881. Among the topics of the other poems and short articles on this page are Christianity and feminism.
Page 79: This page is another "flower page."
