Poetic Devices in Rap

While rhythm and rhyme are fundamental in adding flow to your raps, there are many other poetic elements used in rap lyrics. 
I want you to pick out three poetic devices that you would like to potentially use in your raps. You should be familiar with all of these devices from previous poetry knowledge, however, for a refreshing look at the list of devices and their definitions click here
