You should have a draft or brainstormed ideas from our classroom cipher and other pre-writing activities. After you perform your rap in front of the class on the date written in your agenda, you will submit a typed version of your rap. You will also submit a one-page double-spaced metacognitive paper. A metacognitive paper is a reflection that explains the following: Why you chose the topic you selected to rap about Challenges you faced when writing your rap How your use of poetic devices added to your rap Any other points you would like to add about the writing process If you have any questions regarding your final rap, the presentation, or the metacognitive piece, please email me or ask your questions in class. I look forward to hearing your raps!
