  ​Klara Beinhorn is a freshman at Concordia College, Moorhead, Minnesota. She is undecided but is interested in social sciences and is a member of the Concordia Women's Soccer team.

  Jonathan Steinwand is Professor of English at Concordia College where he serves as Co-director of the Environmental Studies program, Fulbright Program Advisor, Faculty Secretary of the Concordia chapter of the National Leadership Honors Society Omicron Delta Kappa, and faculty representative on the President's Sustainability Council. His most recent publication is “Teaching Environmental Justice Poetry in the Anthropocene” in The Journal of Commonwealth and Postcolonial Studies. This is the sixth SCALAR book he has participated on.
