Rhetorical Analysis

This section seeks to deepen the understanding of the manner in which this project was represented to the University of Puget Sound and the greater Tacoma communities. By examining the rhetoric used in campaign posters and brochures, a retrospective film-script, articles in The Trail, and a University Press Office directive, we explore the ways that even this relatively progressive campaign initiative from the late 1960s catered to a white sensibility.
