In the Campaign Specifics section, strategies used for advertising the campaign and planning/hosting dinners are analyzed. The Rhetorical Analysis section analyzes the ways in which the NML campaign was marketed to the Tacoma community, and considers the effect of the campaign's linguistic strategies on white and black audiences. The Stakeholders section considers voices for and against Now, Mr. Lincoln? and the impact of those voices on the campaign. Voices that were noticeably silent from our findings on the campaign (women, and the black business owners themselves) are also discussed. Via an interactive map, the Business Elements section introduces and provides information on the businesses located in Hilltop, Tacoma that received seed money from the campaign, and considers why most of these businesses failed within 18 months after the NML campaign had taken place.
