Interviewee talks about her early life and education. She talks about working at VMZ Sopot, specializing in chemical engineering in Dimitrovgrad, and the student brigadier movement of the 1950s in Bulgaria. She comments on the positive effects on participating in brigades on young people, and the existence of VMZ-sponsored summer camps. She discusses the relationships between colleagues and her work responsibilities. She comments on the trend of globalization, the European Union, and the geopolitical relationships between Bulgaria, the U.S., and Russia.  She also talks about the changes and fears that workers experienced post-1990, and looks back to compare her expectations of the future with the current reality. She concludes by talking about the necessity of sovereign military production in Bulgaria, and highlights the history and importance of VMZ for the region and the country.
