About this Project and its Creator

This exhibition was created to in partial fulfillment of the requirements for SLIS 6140: Digital Environments at the University of Iowa, a class focused on exploring digital spaces and tools and their influence on learning, identities, research, universities, and cultural heritage institutions. The goal of the assignment was to choose and assess a platform used for creating an online exhibition, examining its affordances and challenges for use in library contexts. 

Nancy A. Henke is a graduate student pursuing a Master's in Library and Information Science, with an expected graduation of Spring 2023. Prior to enrolling in library school, Nancy earned an MA in Literature and was teaching faculty at Colorado State University for 13 years. She taught composition and literature, trained graduate students to teach first-year composition, ran the Composition Placement Program, and dyed her hair purple.
