Spent an hour in the Italian section of the Nat. Gallery. Lunched at Callard off the Hotel + Mother + I went to the Italian section of S. Kensington Museum. Dined in res. + went to Savoy Theater + saw Mr War a Chinese comedy + very good. Sept 15 Fine cool day Started at 1030 in a 7 seated 27 H.P. Daimler open car Driver Belton for a 2 day trip. Passed Seven Oaks. Tunbridge + lunched at Wellington Hotel Tunbridge Wells. Good lunch + fine view from Hotel. A battery company was camped on the common Fine horses + good camp The Pantiles on town promenade was rather quaint but it is a cheap resort Country rolling + lovely from Seven Oaks here
