He sails tomorrow + the car is to go the 12th Good table d'Hote dinner in restaurant at 7-6 each and went to the Vaudeville theater + saw "My Aunt" quite a good farce. Drove in afternoon. Sept 5 All took a walk in the morning + then Jep + I spent an hour and a half in the National Gallery in the British Section. A different section of the Gallery is open each day in the week Got a good table d' Hote lunch at Princes Restaurant at 5s. + went to Matinee at New Theatre + saw Grumpy one of the best comedies we have seen for a long time Cyril Maude as Grumpy was fine. Had table d'Hote in the Grill Room at 5-6 Sept 6 Went to First C.S. church in morning on Sloane Terrace A large church + quite full Both readers were excellent
