Then we all walked through the Tiergarten to the Rheingold restaurant + had good four course lunch a la carte on the terrace for 13 marks Also walked home all rested in afternoon except Jep who took another long walk. No war news or troops moving today. Aug 19 I visited consul + made an affidavit of Jacks birth in Cleveland Could get no draft on Hamburg at the Bank so got a post office order for 800 marks for Jack. Jep got a 4th class ticket + checked his trunk to Hamburg. I wrote Jack sendng him the check order + affidavit. We all
