I am a third year communications major, I've worked in Residential Education for two years, and I love food. I was interested in this topic because I am part Sicilian and wanted to learn more about the Italian migration and its influence on the countries it affected; especially in terms of pop culture as I grew up with my great-grandparents and family members always playing Italian music. My experience with migration is that my great-grandparents and their families migrated here from Sicily and their names are on Ellis Island.
