I have been a lifelong Kings fan, and have recently been involved with sports broadcasting at KCR College Radio. Last year I was able to call numerous SDSU hockey and baseball games, as well as co-host a sports radio show with my partner, Christian Alvarez. I have also been doing karate since I was 4, and earned my 2nd degree black belt when I turned 16.
I haven't dealt with a ton of migration myself, the most being semi-yearly vacations to Hawaii, however I "migrated" from LA to here for college. My dad migrated to LA from Queens, and my mom was born in Hollywood. I'm interested in taking this class since a study abroad in Italy sounds very interesting next year, and I would like to know a little more about the country's backstory and historical achievements.
