National Crime Syndicate

In New York, at this time, prohibition sparked new opportunities for these men as well as many other crime families. Bootlegging, racketeering, and gambling became a means of income and helped to expand through not only New York but Atlantic City, New Jersey and also parts of the midwest like Chicago. The National Crime Syndicate allowed for gangsters of many different ethnicities to form an alliance that would allow for more profit.
