Supporting Material – Film scripts
To assist with classroom delivery of the materials the original film scripts are marked up to indicate exactly where and how present/missing controls appear in the footage.

2 people are standing outside a locked door.
Old hand: This is the door to the main loading dock; we’ll have to get a security key cut for you later, for today we can use mine. Make sure you don’t lose your key when you get it; the only other person that has a key apart from warehouse staff is the warehouse manager. If you have to go to him and tell him you lost the main warehouse key he won’t be too happy. The courier delivers at 3 every day and we need to be here to check what he’s dropping off.
[Pulls key on lanyard out of pocket, unlocks and opens door, they walk in]
[Present Control 1]
They are now on a loading dock. A courier truck pulls up to the dock; the courier gets out with a couple of boxes.
Old hand: Hi, got some goodies for us today have you?
Courier: Just a couple.
Old hand: Before we can take those boxes you need to check that this stuff is on our list for today, he’ll have some paperwork for us to check
Courier: Yep – here it is
[Courier hands a delivery docket to the old hand, who looks closely at it then passes it to the new employee]
[Present Control 2 & 3]

2 people are standing outside a door that is propped open with a box.
Old hand: This is the door to the loading dock; don’t worry too much about needing a key, we usually leave it propped open with a box like this, it saves us having to worry about getting a key cut for everyone. The courier delivers at 3 every day and it’s not a bad idea to be here when he get here, otherwise you end up with anyone who happens to be around signing for goods.
[They push the door open and walk in]
Old hand: Hi, got some goodies for us today have you?
Courier: Just a couple.
Old hand: Before we can take those boxes we need to sign his paperwork. Got that handy have you?
Courier: Yep – here it is
[Missing Control 2 & 3]
Courier: Thanks, here’s yours, see you tomorrow
