Tim J. Beaumont

Tim Beaumont is an Educational Development Advisor at Victoria University, Australia. In this role, Tim collaborates with academics on a range of discipline-specific initiatives and engages in broader programs such as the Graduate Certificate of Tertiary Education to support innovative and scholarly teaching practice. In a prior role as Lecturer in Higher Education at the University of Melbourne, Australia, Tim was involved in grant projects that involved the development of an online peer assisted learning scheme and a graduate award program for masters-level students in a business faculty as well as development of numerous further learning and teaching initiatives for students and staff. Tim is currently engaged in a cross-institutional grant project related to the professional field of academic language and learning and is pursuing PhD studies in educational development with reference to practice theory.
