The first atomic bomb ever deployed in enemy territory, Little Boy, was finally done and ready to complete its mission. Little Boy had a blast power equivalent to 15 kilotons of TNT (63 TJ), with a total weight of 9,700 lb. The development of the bomb took more than a year, researching and trying every radioactive element possible. The main component of the final weapon was Uranium U-235, which was the primary cause of the radiation in the air killing more than 60,000 over the time.

It is essential to understand the technology behind this destructive machine. In the 1940s, The United States stimulated the economy into the war industry, such as weapon production, research development, and training camps. This incentive, along with the imminent threats from the Asian country, resulted in an incredible, coordinated bombing attack that crushed the Japanese Empire and changed the path of that country. All this effort was made by the famous Manhattan Project research development, using billions of dollars and creating new, developed and lethal weapons.
