Gendered Design in STEAM: A Virtual Research Portal

Inception Workshop

The Inception Workshop was a two-day event to launch Gendered Design in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics) for Low and Middle Income Countries (LMICs), a research project funded by the International Research Development Centre and facilitated out of Carleton University. The Inception Workshop initiated the theme amongst sector experts, helped refine the call for projects, developed a protocol for case studies, regional workshops, and the dissemination processes.

Check out this video of the morning presentations on May 22 featuring co-primary investigators Dominique Marshall and Bjarki Hallgrimsson, alongside the coordination team, Assistant Professor Chiara Del Gaudio and Postdoctoral Fellow / Project Director Beth A.
