Arrest of a Chinaman

Arrest of a Chinaman.--Sin Ken Chem was arrested, charged with stealing a quantity of Daguerreotype apparatusses, belonging to Peter N. Harsley, No. 112 Broadway, valued at $35. It seems that Sin was in the employ of Mr. Harsley, but whether to learn the art or not does not appear. On the 1st of September, however, he left, taking with him the articles in question, probably with the idea of starting the business in his own country. He was held for examination.
