Summary:

Listed above are the questions that were asked to the class, mine, in particular, being bolded. At first, no one felt like responding ( or actually couldn't) respond to the questions that were asked, but after we answered a few of our own questions, the class opened up and we discussed/analyzed these questions deeply. I remember one of our classmates commenting that it was only dubbed in Mandarin due to the artists inclination to capture the authenticity of the culture which is why it wasn't dubbed in Korean or Spanish or English. Another interesting point that was brought up was the comment a classmate made on the ending. This gentleman commented that he truly did see the purpose of it all coming to a full circle. He said that this happened in order to show and help the audience resonate and feel connected to Sing by knowing what he has been through and what he has overcome. Ultimately, this was a compelling and deep discussion in regards to Kung Fu Hustle, one that I did not expect for us to engage in.
