Note on Week 4

Please note that there are three entries for Week 4.

1) Indigenous Studies Panel hosted by UMD: Thursday, September 17 at 4pm. This is strongly recommended.
2) Book Launch hosted by Howard History Department: Friday, September 18 at noon. This is required.
3)Reading for our class. This is also required.

You may do your weekly response on 1, 2, and/or 3.

All of these will be submitted to Scalar
- Create your author page: this is where you will collect all your work. Due before class meets on September 4
- Weekly Reflections: You will either propose an Open Source Resource (OAR), Lesson Plan, or Research Project related to that week's material. Due every week before class starts, beginning with September 4
- Final Project: You will curate an OAR, Pedagogy Piece, #syllabus, blog post, and create a "path" for this Scalar book that organizers your work along side other materials in this project (include a rationale of your choices). Due during Exam week. We will discuss the exact date as a class
  - Scaffolding for Final Project:

    Draft with Action Plan
    Peer Review Workshop
    Final Submission
