The modern 10th Cavalry visited Lt. William M. Dunn (center), veteran of the original U.S. Army unit. Dunn joined the 10th Cavalry, known as the "Buffalo Soldiers" in 1898. The 10th Cavalry was re-created by a group of young men with authentic uniforms, riding, and preparing to appear in a motion picture with actor Woody Strode (in white).
