In his research into the origins of art, the artist tries to discover the very first and the purest creative impulse, to reclaim for the image and word their ancient magic essence. The picture's background is done in yellow colour, which suggests associations with the warmth of the sun, yolk, dandelion. Spring, as the artist sees it, is physical sensation of warmth that fills the world. All characters in the picture are reduced to universal symbols. Endearing creatures are awakening to life. At the bottom are the first people: Adam and Eve. In the top square "flutter" the primeval "Venus" and two winged creatures, not unlike Cupids, as if they were the sun and its two rays. A verse to the left reminds of the original kinship between the word and image. Rigorous constructing of the composition and careful selection of depictive devices make it obvious that we are dealing with a skilful stylization of primitive art. Lorem iContrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance.
