Outside of her academic pursuits Maria is the President of the English Undergradute Organization and a member of University Chorus at Ohio State. Her interests include sciefiction and fantasy genres, with an emphasis on magic and its roles in literature starting from medieval periods to present. After her undergraduate education Maria plans to pursue a Masters in Library Science, with the hope of one day working in a public or university library. Her dream is one day own her own independent bookstore and coffee shop.
