Dr. Leigh Bonds


Dr. Leigh Bonds is an assistant professor and the digital humanities librarian. She consults with faculty and students on research and teaching, teaches digital humanities praxis and pedagogy, collaborates on projects, and coordinates the campus digital humanities network.

Leigh holds a PhD in English literature from Texas Tech University, specializing in the nineteenth century and book history. Her research interests include the late Georgian period, British Romantic women writers, and the celebrated actress, élégante, and writer Mary Robinson. She is currently co-editing the Routledge Research Companion to Romantic Women Writers and contributed to the Romantic Women Writers Reviewed series (Pickering & Chatto, 2011-13). She has also published on DH librarianship practices.
