Outside of her major, Julie enjoys being a part of musical ensembles like The Ohio State Athletic Band. She has plans to pursue a Master's degree in creative writing or library science after graduating. Over the next year, she will be working within the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library. Although this would be her first contribution to an exhibition, any future research interests of hers lie in handwritten and annotated documents.
