Into the Green Green Mud

The story "Into the Green Green Mud" relates back to the theme of this book which is about relationships: romantic, friends, objects, animals etc. This story "Into the Green Green Mud" by Miriam Suzanne fits into these parameters about relationships because it is about the progression of two peoples coming together and falling apart as a couple. At the beginning of the story it starts out by showing you two peoples separate lives and their relationships with their surroundings both the objects and the people within it. Something that makes this story unique is that it is almost entirely made of the thoughts of the two characters, never real interactions, just the thoughts about the interactions that had previously happened. The main characters in this story are named Johnny-John (goes by JJ) and Susy and this is an unconventionally written love story between the two, but if you read closely you can see the little details of what makes them fall in love.
