St. Charles the Martyr Episcopal Mission, Butler (defunct)

The mission of St. Charles the Martyr began in 1961 under Bishop Mallett, when the diocese purchased from the Church of the Nazarene a building on East Main Street in Butler. Named for the executed King Charles I of England, it failed to thrive, and the building was sold in 1967. Records of the parish are in the diocesan archives.
