Williamson was born in Oakworth, near Keighley, Yorkshire, England, on 19 December 1883, the son of Francis and Anne (Gisburn) Williamson. In 1910, he was enumerated in Chicago as a student. He married Beatrice Brickwood there the following year on 3 October 1911. At the time he was vicar of St. Paul's Church in DeKalb, Illinois. In 1912 he came to Valparaiso, Indiana, and was assigned to St. Andrew's Church by Bishop White. He remained there through 1915 while also having charge of St. Stephen's Mission at Hobart. In 1918, he registered for the World War I draft in Preque Isle, Michigan, and by 1920 was serving a church in Cheboygan. He later moved to Bay City, where he was enumerated in 1940. His date and place of death are unknown.
