Rev. Paul Menzies Ross Jr.

The Rev. Paul M. Ross Jr. was born in Indianapolis on 27 October 1932, the son of Paul Menzies and Edna-Mae (Thomas) Ross. He graduated from Butler University in 1953 and later attended Nashotah House, from which he graduated in 1967. He was ordained both a deacon and priest that same year. He began his career as a curate at St. John the Evangelist in Elkhart from 1967 to 1968, and then became rector of St. David's, Elkhart, from 1968 to 1977, during which time he was also priest-in-charge of St. John of the Cross, Bristol, from 1973 to 1976. He served the diocese in a non-parochial capacity from 1977 to 1982, then moved to Canton, Georgia, as rector of St. Clement's Church from 1982 to 1989. He was priest-in-charge of St. Timothy's, Calhoun, Georgia, fro, 1983 to 1990, and priest in charge of Holy Family, Jasper, Georgia, from 1986 to 1990. He retired in 1990 and died in Atlanta on 26 August 1999.
