Rev. Joseph Cooper Hall

The Rev. Joseph C. Hall was born in Paterson, New Jersey, in November 1860. He married Edith Russell on 1 June 1886 in Paterson. He was ordained a deacon in 1886 and a priest in 1888 by Bishop Starkey. He spent most of his career in New Jersey. From 1888 to 1890, he was rector of St. Peter's Church in Washington, New Jersey. From there he moved to St. George's Church in Rumson from 1890 to 1895, and then to Trinity Church, Trenton, from 1895 to 1896. From there he became rector of St. Bernard's Church in Bernardsville, New Jersey, from 1896 to 1901. In the 1900 census, he was enumerated in River Falls, Wisconsin, while his wife and children continued to reside in Bernardsville. He was rector of St. Paul's Church, La Porte, Indiana, from 1904 to 1905, and then returned to New Jersey to serve a church in East Orange. He has not been located in 1910 and his date and place of death are unknown.
