Rev. John Plummer Derwent Llwyd

The Rev. John P. D. Llwyd was born in England on 7 June 1861. He came to Canada, graduated from Montreal Divinity School, and was ordained a deacon and priest in 1885 by the Bishop of Montreal. He came to Indiana the same year and served at St. James, South Bend. In 1887, he became rector of St. Paul's in Riverside, Illinois, and in 1889, he headed Good Shepherd in Omaha, Nebraska. He returned to Canada and served as dean of a school in Halifax, Nova Scotia, from 1913 to the time of his death. He died on 20 February 1933 and is buried in Camp Hill Cemetery, Halifax.
