2nd Lieutenant Steve Watts (Aaron Paul) is lower in ranking than both Colonel Katherine Powell (Helen Mirren) and Lieutenant General Frank Benson (Alan Rickman). However, he takes control of the situation and the mission, ultimately convincing both powers to listen to him and follow his advice.
