Daniel St. in Champaign from 1914-1985. "It was an ideal location, providing an excellent view of the southward growth of the University of Illinois campus and the corresponding shift of fraternity houses. The house was considered to be one of the finest examples of architectural design in the country." (www.rushacacia.com/history).
The homecoming game of 1936 pitted the University of Illinois against Ohio State. Afterwards the Phi Kappa chapter of Alpha Chi Rho held their annual "Dad's Day." That day, A. P. Little was elected president of the chapter's "Dads Association" and Bob D'Ambrosios was presented with "the Ancient and Sacred Scroll of Alpha Chi Rho, of which he (was) to be sole keeper and guardian of during the coming year."
