The religions of all three tribes were heavily based on nature and shared similar ceremonies and beliefs. With the introduction of white settlers and Christianity, the people of the Kiowa, Blackfoot, and Lakota all suffered changes to their religions. By examining the religions of each tribe in detail, we can see the shared beliefs and practices of the tribes as well as how their religion changed with the introduction of Christianity.
