The religions of all three tribes were heavily based on nature and shared similar ceremonies and beliefs. With the introduction of white settlers and Christianity, the people of the Kiowa, Blackfoot, and Lakota all suffered changes to their religions. These tribes all have complex and interesting religions and shared beliefs and practices. However, the westward expansion by the United States greatly affected these tribes and the introduction of Christianity impacted the tribes culturally and religiously.
