One World, One Dream: Beijing 2008
The Beijing Olympics was the crowing moment of China's rise, showing off China's civilizational and political power to the world, through the opening ceremony. The Olympic motto "One World, One Dream"echoed across the city, from the Olympic Park Green to the local residents. Now almost six years later the influence the Olympic experience had on Beijing's global emergence and on the national consciousness cannot be underestimated.
