Conclusion

Introduction
Through its many transformations, the Senate of Canada Building is a site with an extensive history that will only continue to grow. The architectonics of this building and its interiors serve as better representations of the Senate due to its connections to Canadian history and its inclusion of modernity. The progression allows for education and freedom of movement in comparison to the Centre Block, and its architectural forms and objects have a stronger, more direct connection to Canada as its own country, rather than Canada as a product of Europe.

It is intriguing to question how the rehabilitated Centre Block will react to modernity, if at all, and what the future holds for the Senate of Canada Building after the Senate returns.
