The club was wildly popular, hosting celebrities such as Madonna, 50 Cent, Whitney Houston, and anyone else who was producing musical hits at the time. The music at the nightclub was quite diverse. There were lines of people going out the doors.

Even to this day, people still have fond memories of the nightclub. About a third of the members at the David Barton Gym, Limelight Location lived in the city while the nightclub was at large.
