Modern Architectures of North America

Low, broad and flat roofs.

The roofs go along with Frank Loyd Wright's design principle of connecting nature, topography and architecture. "A building should appear to grow easily from its site and be shaped to harmonize with its surroundings."- FLW He designed the house to go with the natural slope of the mountain. The natural color, low roofs make it unobtrusive to the surrounding environment.
