Constrained Space
The reason the marketplace eventually closed was due to the space constraints. The building was not able to bring in enough business with the limited number of space and shops. Below is a picture of the David Barton Gym, which replaced the marketplace. This gym tore down much of the interior to allow for open spaces. The David Barton Gym is still in business.
