A lot of the mapping exercise was a crash course in google maps and spreadsheets. It was frustrating at times, as there was a lot of trial and error. After I finished the assignment, I had further issues in image links changing and thus not showing on the map. Let's just say there was a fairly steep learning curve with this assignment! This assignment probably took the longest, and induced the most stress. But I was satisfied with the end result, and inspired by the affordances of mapping. Mapping only partially geographically oriented artifacts really calls for a conceptual shift, and provokes a more creative or alternative way of presenting information.
