Shulamit Gallery: Who is the gallery serving?

The Shulamit Gallery serves many communities within Los Angeles. At the surface, it acts as an environment for emerging and established Los Angeles artists to exhibit their art, while socially engaging with the greater community. The Shulamit Gallery focuses on the Middle East with a particular attention to Iranian, Israeli, and Jewish artists. The gallery serves as a medium for these artists to artistically communicate with Iranians, Jews, and many other Angelenos. As these artists are often “cultural ambassadors,” they want to foster dialogue and stimulate interest in the community.
