While many artists want to display their artwork in the Shulamit Gallery, there are qualifications they must have in order for their art to be shown. Although many artists engage in art as a hobby, Shulamit and her co-director choose to work with artists who have a true passion and seriousness for their art. The artwork must have a purpose and a message in order to be shown in her gallery. Along with this, both her and her co-director must like the artwork presented to them. Additionally, due to the high demand and requests that Shulamit Gallery receives, they find that it is easier and more preferable to work with local artists rather than artists outside of Los Angeles.
