How to Use This Resource

The main feature of Truth-Telling: Frances Willard and Ida B. Wells is the Timeline of the conflict between the two leaders. The Timeline takes readers through the story in chronological order. Each page features at least one original primary source document that helps to explain what happened. The documents are accompanied by introductory text that places them in context. Some of them also contain in-line annotations that help to make sense of dense nineteenth-century prose.
